covers over 25 square miles that include the townships of Murray,
Fancher, and Hulberton as well as the village of Holley. HVA
responded to over 300 calls for service with their 35 all volunteer

western area of Monroe County to include the village of Brockport
and the township of Morton. These responses included motor
vehicle accidents, HAZMAT, heart attacks, breathing problems;
farm accidents and weather related emergencies 24 hr. /day

The demographic make-up of the HVA is diverse. We have areas
that contain large family farm operations that include the
transportation of hazardous materials, various storage facilities
and heavy equipment operations. We also have a large
residential area including a large school campus. Our district also
has part of the Erie Canal and two major state highways that run
through the entire district, which increases the possibility of more
incidents and more serious injury or even death.
